Professional Outlook
My skills as a nanny, writer and graduate student at first glance may seem unrelated but they take a skill set that includes collaboration, understanding your audience and building relationships. These are skills that serve no matter what environment I find myself in.

I am a positive, self-directed, enterprising person that knows how to go with the flow but also knows when it is time to step up, take the lead and initiate what needs to be done. I thrive in dynamic situations. I am able to quickly problem solve, balance numerous responsibilities, and utilize strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and collaborate no matter what group I am asked to work with.

These skills span across my experience volunteering with survivors of domestic violence/sexual assault, three years of work in customer service, managing high-stakes board meetings for America's largest trade association, and my work as a caregiver working intimately with families caring for their children.

Ultimately, I strongly believe in recognizing the uniqueness of each client, child, and audience I am communicating with.
